That indicates something's summing, probably L/R.

Double check if the default pan settings are correct, and if the program audio's panning is set correct.

Here's the issue I've seen happen: if you for instance work with user settings that have default pan set to Center Pan, cut and level your audio, then send your sequence to someone else, and if this other person uses user settings with default pan set to Alternating L/R, the tracks will play back as alternating L/R. And vice versa.

It's apparently because the default pan has NO panning info, so it will adapt to the user's default pan settings, UNLESS you have manually set or changed the panning for the clips.

So it can be easy to see changed levels after switching user settings, 'cause if you have stereo L on A1 and stereo R on A2 and sum both to center, everything will be 3dB too hot.
