Hum.... That may be the ticket. What I can do with Premiere that I'd
REALLY like to do inside Avid is work with the MXF files generated by
the Sony Clip Browser (or whatever), then export the sequence directly
to Adobe Media Encoder. No intermediate codec. It saves a TON of time
on long/cheap projects.
With Avid I try to do that with a QT Reference file to Sorenzen or
directly to Encore - but it never seems to work right and I always end
up having to export a full QT file - which can take HOURS and just kills
productivity. If this fixes that, it would be worth the money. Am I
understanding the capability correctly?
