the focus was mostly on the tools for post at the reseller event.
Protools 11 is a major rewrite and you can bounce an entire feature film in 48 secs IIRC - that is amazing.
the thing they made the most of is that you don't get shafted by buying v11 and having to upgrade the whole facility. you can start in 11 and go back and you can start in prior versions (back to mid v5) and go forward.
Project demarcation / separation based on logged in user is big for Interplay in post. they are trying hard to do what we have asked for forever and drop the price of Interplay and ISIS to where small post can afford it. At 38K euros / £32K (I am guessing, pricing for Europe not released yet) for a 16TB ISIS, three copies of MC 7, all professional services, support for a year and an Interplay production engine is a pretty fair price for all that coolness I reckon. If you buy Interplay, you get Central thrown in for free.

This would be pretty paramount for a technology company that has not had a CTO for quite some now. Terry's point at the pre-NAB panel should be duely noted. Here's hoping that you are right and that Hernandez can be the one leading the company's development - preferably not just for the big broadcasters (another point from the same panel, made by Dan).
