I arrange my project like this
01_Edit
01_Versions
02_Approvals
03_Picturelock
02_Music
etc
So in 01_Versions I have my bins with sequences, i.e. bin name: XXXX_name_Edit_TH (XXXX is the project number) and TH my initials.
I name my sequences like this
XXXX_name_edit_TH_vXX
Each time I feel I've made a good progress I duplicate the sequence and goes up a version.
When I send something to approval, have a review or something like that, I duplicate the sequence to the approval bin, change _edit_ to approval.
Next time I edit I go up one version, so I always know what I have seen with someone.
When the edit is done, I duplicate the sequence to picture lock bin and change _edit_ to _picturelock, If changes are made I remove the sequence from picture lock to versions and etc.
This Works very well for me, and I can always backtrack changes and I know which versions I've shown i.e the director.
I apologise the written english, It's not my first language..and it's quite early in the danish morning
Have a nice day
