[Avid-L2] Whacky AMA edit rate conflict and audio and video codec confusion?

So I'm starting a 1080i/59.94 project and I link to an ama volume and I get 6 clips in the bin with an error that 2 clips could not be linked.  One clip out of the 6 that show up in the bin as dnx 115 and the rest are DVCPro HD (720P/60)  These are all coming from the same folder that contains a CONTENTS folder and a LASTCLIP.TXT document.  If I dig into the video folder inside the CONTENTS folder I can find the odd clip and relink to it and now it says DVCPro HD (720P/60) like the others but there is no audio.  If I highlight the newly relinked clip and relink to ama file(s) and this time I point to the matching files in the audio folder the audio is there.  Weird.  Also when I initially linked to the ama volume and two clips wouldn't link the error message said to check the console and here's what it read:

p, li { white-space: pre-wrap; }

Link To AMA Volume -> /Volumes/BTSNDX 01 Int Raid 03/LTT_102/LTT_102 Elements/102_Connor_shark_shoot/shark1/
MVP Used:[ Plugin Name = PanasonicP2 MVP_MSP Plug-In Avid Technology, Inc. Version = 2.6 ]
MSP Used:[ Plugin Name = PanasonicP2 MVP_MSP Plug-In Avid Technology, Inc. Version = 2.6 ]

Not much of an error message. At any rate I get the 6 clips with audio in the bin and I got to transcode to dnx 220 and I get a prompt saying some of the clips don't match the edit rate of the current project. I tried both 1080i/59.94 and 1080P/29.97 and I get the same prompt. The choice is to Convert, Skip or Cancel. I've chosen to convert. Is this edit mismatch because the DVCPro HD is a true 60 and not 59.94? I'd always been under the impression that DVCPro HD 720P/60 was really 59.94. Is this not the case or has it changed? This would be the first folder I've chosen to convert and the radio cut for the show has already been done at 23.98 when the final delivery is going to be 59.94i. Would someone please borrow Bob Z's shotgun and help me get some piece of mind. I've thought the P2 stuff was pretty standard material these days. I am working from a copy of another disk so maybe that's part of the error. Also I count many more clips in the
video folder than I do in the linked to ama volume bin. I'm guessing this could be spanned clips as this is a sit down interview. I'm at a loss as to what 2 clips won't link and given the mismatched of files in the video folder compared to clips in the ama bin I can't really just find the two missing video file names because there are 11 video files in the video folder and only 6 clips as previously mentioned in the ama bin. I'm thinking I might have to get an ECS-90 to finish this show. ;-)
