Please let us not even think of comparing middle-of-the-road basic set of wheels Camry with unmatched editing application which is Media Composer. Try Lamborghini than, if you want to stay with cars.
There is no FCP anymore. Not in the picture for serious editors. It's left reserved for the cool ski-hat-wearing crowd that doesn't know drop-frame from non drop-frame.
And think about this:
if MC 6.5 was 2.5K
and MC 7 is 0.7K
then
either MC 6.x was grossly over-priced
or MC 7 is grossly under-priced.
BTW there once was MC 7 that started at 50K, but let's not talk about my age. :)
