The Frame Flex and LUTS seems to be a step in the direction of addressing long standing requests and there is also mention of background processing of transcodes etc... I assume the prices listed for the versions are for a new versions not upgrades. $999.00 for someone new to Avid seems like another step in the right direction to get interest from those who have always viewed Avid as too pricey. I wonder what upgrade prices will be and how these new features will be integrated for existing symphony owner, which seems to be everyone I know these days.
