Hey Michael,
Not sure what I did wrong, but it still would not relink to the new media.
File names are identical. Timecode is identical. Only file duration is
different.
It may be trying to link using the file Start timecode, which is different.
Not sure if the other options are helpful (TC 24, Aux 1, etc.)
Oddly, this is easy in FCP 7, despite its ugly media management.
Hmmmm....Maybe giving them Tape names and decomposing the original sequence?
