[Avid-L2] Re: file based QC

 

I'd second looking at vidchecker.

It's a really neat applications http://www.vidcheck.com/

We've looked at it a couple of times and initially it wasn't quite there
(for us) but the current version is very powerful and capable and not that
expensive.

We have a whole bunch of training coming up based on broadcast QC and the
move to file based deliveries and will be getting in Cerify
http://www.tek.com/file-based-content-analyzer/cerify-video-content-analysis

As part of the course. However it's not a cheap solution and in some ways
not as flexible as Vidchecker so I may look at having Vidchecker on hand as
well. (we should talk Rupert)

If your London based then talk to Root 6 as they distribute it.
