[Avid-L2] Re: file based QC

 

All my color correction starts with 16-235 master curve and then I color correct from there. In the end I use safe color set to 422, 16-235 and I've had no QC issues. Not sure what inconsistencies you are see but there are always some specular excusions that can set off the Tek alarm when the error area parameter is set to 1 percent. I agree 16 to 235 might be aggrerssive but it generally gets thing through the QC jungle. I also stop at every stop sign and red light in California, so maybe I'm too cautious. No one at home is complaining.
