Greetings, list! Long-time listener, first-time caller.
Using MC 6.5, I'm having a problem AMA'ing footage shot with a Sony F3 to a Sound Devices PIX240 recorder. It's 1080p/23.976/DNxHD175X, but it doesn't fast import, playback is choppy, and an error on the console reads:
A video compression id of 1241 with an edit rate of 24000 over 1001 and a height of 540
was not found in the list of supported formats for Quicktime AMA linking.
This error will cause a switch to sample provider mode. QuickTimeToAAFInfoRetriever: GetInfoFromImageDescription(): Error of: SR_ERR_RECORD_NOT_FOUND on call to: GetEssenceContainerLabelFromVCID
Forcing sample provider mode for video.
GetCPIXHandle failed to get cpix, err(-3000).
Unexpected pixelFormat(1918990112).
So, Avid doesn't see it as a navtive format. Now, a sample file witht the same specs from Sound Devices AMA imports fine, and plays back fine. Has anybody seen this before?
Thanks,
Kevin Vinther
