I made this exact step 13 years ago. If you're interested in getting
together over a beer and speaking truths, I'd be happy to share both
horror and joy with you. Technically, you're in my neighborhood, so
we'd be 'competitors,' but I've made plenty of 'competi-friends' over
the years, and not really any enemies. (We're very likely not competing
for the exact same customers anyway.)
In fact, I'd love to have you by the office- we're in Culver City.
(...or, you know, BUY the office, if you're so inclined... pre-wired,
built-out bays- comes with an AWESOME support team!)
Among the litany of 'old man sage advice:' Owen is dead right -
customers don't come 'just because you built it.'
