My specs:
Symphony 6.0.3.2
AJA IO Express 10.3.2
I set my AJA control panel Primary Output to 1080 / 29.97i, work in a 1080
/ 29.97i project. Switching back and forth does not change the output - it
always stays at 1080 / 29.97i.
I have this setup on multiple machines and they all act accordingly.
