I never use the word SPHERE- it makes a simple concept appear more difficult than it is.
I just say I am remote editing with Media Composer or Newscutter. This is done using a plugin called SPHERE. This plugin allows the editing system to open an 'Interplay Window' to see and edit with assets back at the central server. The SPHERE plugin also allows me to upload clips or sequences to the plant.
Simple really, once you get beyond the meaningless marketing term SPHERE.
