Not only that, as of MC/Symphony 6 Avid can't be minimized during renderings/imports/exports, the only way to reach the desktop is using the "show desktop" button in the taskbar, if You don't keep the taskbar always on top it can be reached using the Start key, but as You noticed opening a folder, or running another app, brings Avid back on, rather annoying; I've already complained about this "feature" when version 6 came out, but it's still here with 6.5.
