Following up I tried it and it appears to work. Unfortunately Resolve 9.1.1 doesn't seem to like 10.6.8. I tried it on Mountain Lion 10.8.2 and Resolve seemed to work along with the Artist Color Panel. I've read others said the latest Resolve Lite won't work on 10.7.5. I haven't checked that out but I'm cloning and about to upgrade the OS on the clone to see how everything behaves. Initial test show that the ATI Radeon HD 5770 that came stock does work enough to show picture. With the OS 10.6.8 I got all kind of out of GPU memory before loading anything into the default project and then Resolves test clips from their site played a bunch of noise. This all worked ok with 10.8.2. Probably something listed in the Read Me files that I have of course not Read. ;-)
