First off, thank God for Marianna. Without her, I don't care who the CEO is, I don't care what else is happening, life is good.
Now for the real order of business:
First, I tried Marketplace for the first time (buying stuff THROUGH the Avid interface/menu. That failed. I could see the store - though it ran INCREDIBLY SLOW - but when I tried to make a purchase it couldn't find the page for the AvidFX presets. So that was FAIL Number 1 of the day. You would think that for a company in financial trouble, the ONE THING you would make sure worked was to let customers BUY STUFF that they ALREADY WANT. Sadly, no. This is not the case.
Secondly, I did a search for AvidFX on the main Avid.com website and it returned zero results. This just makes me sad.
