[Avid-L2] Avid / Windows 7 Desktop Behavior

Doing a bunch of upgrades to Symphony 6.5 (with a full new install of
Windows 7) and have come across a new "feature" that I'm not sure I
understand.

When you use the "show desktop" button on the right hand side of the task
bar, once you have clicked to open a folder, the Avid software appears
behind the folder window. If you reach up and actually minimize the
application it acts normally. Is this a new Avid thing or just a Windows 7
thing I never noticed before? Other applications do not seem to act the
same way.
