[Avid-L2] Add metadata to Avid Log Exchange file

Does anyone know of an existing tool to write Avid Log Exchange Files with
additional data to be added a various times.
I'm mid editing a project where I have to consistently write in additional
data to existing bins and merge it in with known sources.

For instance
RFM code frame counts which I put into the DPX column for a 4k stereoscopic
conform. It's kind of a pain a RMF writes is format as *10-1_LL.3475033.rmf
*
Of course DPX is *10_1_LL-3475033*
I have a python script to take care of the image streams syntax mismatches
so that's not an issue

The issue has always been with the tool-sets like Microsoft excel which is
kind of a pain. It consistently screws up the header (LF and CR) and I
have to consistently massage the data between 2 applications to fix it.
As well other columns will have to be entered at different times like VFX
numbers and UNC path etc.

I could write a python script/app to do this but I was hoping something
existed already.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Jeff
