This won't help you much, but I have Symphony 6.0.3.2 and the version 8 of
Squeeze that came with and I do not have this issue. As long as I feed
Squeeze a full scale file, blacks coming out look like what went in.
What H.264 encoder are you using? I've had success with both Main Concept
and x264. Does the same problem happen with Compressor or MPEG Streamclip?
