What good will that do? (Except keeping the client happy for now.)
Any TV / DVD / Blu something / Web delivery ends up 8 bit and you've got
your problem back.
Grain / noise is the solution, not taking the problem away, but effectively
hiding it from the human eye.

What are your render settings in the Media Creation settings? You should
uncheck the option to render use source settings, make sure you have 16 bit
