On my ama based project I've been posting about I've done all my ama transcodes to DNX220. I was going to then transcode to SD 10:1 for offline but I noticed the choice of dnx45 on my SNDX 6.5.2. If I transcode to DNX 45 will that play nice with mcsoft 5.5.3? I don't recall when this resolution became available. I remember dnx36 or some such offline resolution but that was only available in 24 frame projects IIRC. Will I be okay with dnx45 or should I go the SD 10:1 route for offline on the older iMac system? I was going to just go high res for offline but after watching how long it took to render titles for a QT ref output I'm rethinking that now for all the approval QTs I'll be making along the way the lower res should save some bit crunching time etc.... Open to suggestions if I'm heading into a hell of my own making. ;-)
