I need opinions and recommendations on what monitors most people are using in home based edit bays for source/rec & color grading.
I just recently received an Apple 27" Cinema display with TB hookups, and while the 27" size is great, I'm having a major problem with the glossy screen. It's very hard to minimize reflections and I find that distracting and inefficient. It's gotten so bad that I'm considering giving back the Cinema Display and going instead with a 22" or 24" LCD flat panel.
I hear that some of the Dell models are 'acceptable' to use a Source/Rec monitor and ok for doing CC work. I'm running MC 6.1 off a year old MBP.
Any and all feedback is appreciated.
