Hey Listers,

Does anyone know what folder

the "The Apple QuickTime MPEG-2 Playback Component"

lives in for OS 10.7.5. I have installed a new SSD

boot drive and MPEG Streamclip will not play DVDs

without it. I know it was installed by FCP Studio

on my old boot drive. In fact if I boot up from the

old drive Streamclip plays DVD's fine. I just can't

locate the little bugger to install it on the new

SSD drive. I have copied over the all the Quicktime

files from the Quicktime folder in the Library and

have copied over all the Application Support files

for Quicktime and FCP Studio to the new SSD drive,

still no joy. Also does anyone know the exact name

of this "Apple QuickTime MPEG-2 Playback Component"

file. Any information regarding this would be

appreciated.

Sincerely,

Robert Landau
