[Avid-L2] Automatic Duck FCP7 Pro Export to Media Composer?

On the Automatic Duck website there's a a link to a tutorial by Wes Plate covering FCP7 export via AAF to Media Composer using the 'Link to AMA Files' option. Wes uses MC5 for the demo, which involves linking to the source QuickTime folder via Avid's 'Link to AMA Volume' then using the regular relink command in MC which should cause the imported AAF to come online.

Two of us have tried this several times with MC 6.5 with no luck at all. In desperation, I fired up an old MC 5.5 and it worked like a charm. Moved the project and media across to 6.5 and work commenced.

Anyone got this technique to work with MC 6.5?

With best wishes,
