Re: [Avid-L2] Playback stutter on Real Time effects

Hi Robert,

I am seeing stress marks. On one short clip(about 3 seconds), I have a mixture of
red and yellow stress marks, with no effect on it at all. It plays fine. It's XDCAM50 1080p
in a 1080i project. Has a green dot. If I add a 3D Warp with a simple push, it stutters.
Same thing even if I change the format tab to 1080p.

Everything is XDCAM50. A mixture of 1080i and 1080p. This is very normal for
this show and never was a problem before.

No mixed frame rates.

The footage is on ISIS but have plenty of room on the partition.

Just to reiterate, in any other room, opening the same project, same sequence, it plays fine.

A few questions:

1. Are you seeing stress marks in your timeline? If so, what color?

2. What sort of material is stuttering? XDCAM? Dnx-145? AvcHD?

3. Are you working with mixed frame rates?

4. Do you have BaseAnalyzer or EdPrep installed on your system?

5. Is all your footage on ISIS? How full are the workspaces?

Let us know. Thanks.
