If you leave PhraseFind activated and do an upgrade, the new software will
find it and reactivate it for you. However, if (as in most cases) you do a
clean install on a new OS (as most often suggested with a full version
upgrade), there's no way for the software to know you had PhraseFind.
That's how it happened for me, so a call to Avid support was necessary to
transfer the 5.5 PhraseFind license to a v6 license, as they have
completely different serials.
