Happy New Year early folks.....
A little education.
Phrasefind and Scriptsync for use with 5 and 5.5 was a 25 digit serial # that looks similar to the serials for the editing app.
Phrasefind and Scriptsync for use with 6 and 6.5 is a 16 digit activation ID and each one is easy to identify by the beginning digits.
Phrasefind = starts with PF
Scriptsync = starts with SS
The way it is suppose to work is..... you deactivate your 5.5 license via the editing app >Special Menu> deactivate leaving the PF and/or SS licenses alone. You then install and activate 6 or 6.5 using the Avid License Control Utility. You should see an Info Tab after activate within ALC. This tab "should show you" the new 16 digit activations for the options you own.
In some cases it hasnt worked - temp licenses, deactivate wasn't completed properly, just didnt "work" for some like Job :) so if you et stuck, email me and I can help you.
