A super easy way to do this would be to lock the camera down and shoot
two shots. Shot one, nothing happens except the guy moves the trash
can. Shot two, with the trash can already in its final position, the
person shoots the ball into the can. Then all you have is a stationary
wipe up to a freeze then a cut to shot 2 full. --J.B.
