Where and when to download?
6.5.0.1/10.5.0. 1 patch updates will go live today, November 1, 2012 at
12:00 Noon EDT on the avid.com Download Center ( login and password
required) and will be located in the Avid Editor Patch folder within the
Product List.
Who is Eligible:
The 6.5.0.1/10.5.0.1 patch updates are free for any customers already on
6.5.x/10.5.x
Patch Instructions:
Please make sure that customers download and read the Patch instructions
document located with the 6.5.0.1/10.5.0.1 download.
Important Notes:
1. This is not a full patch/maintenance release. The
6.5.0.1/10.5.0.1 patch updates are only to provide support for Sony
XDCAM AMA with FrameChase functionality and Sony HDCAM AMA Export.
2. The new Sony Plug-in that support AMA with FrameChase
functionality and Sony HDCAM AMA Export functionality requires the
customer install and use 6.5.0.1/10.5.0.1.
2. New Sony XDCAM Plug-in's Available
Sony has released a new plug-in that work with 6.5.0.1/10.5.0.1. This
AMA plug-in provides support for XDCAM and XDCAM EX files in Avid Media
Composer, Symphony and NewsCutter products, allowing viewing and editing
capability.

Important Notes:
* 1. Avid products supported by PDZK-MA2 version 2.1 include: Media
Composer 6.5.0.1, Symphony 6.5.0.1, NewsCutter 10.5.0.1
2. The correct AMA plug-in must be matched to the version
of Avid editor you are using.
* 3. The SR SStP Plug-in should be available shortly and I will let
you know when it is ready and the link to download.
