hi keld, i posted this last month as a workaround, the plugs work you have to extract them from the msi
"hello, here is a solution if you are on windows, download the AMA installer from sony, put 7zip on your machine, use it to EXTRACT the msi installer, it will then expose the 3 avx that need to go in the AVX2/AMA folder on your system.
i had this problem too and let avid dev know about it yesterday.
hope this helps."

Subject: [Avid-L2] XDCAM AMA Plugin for MCP 6.5?
After updating some of our Windows based MediaComposers to version 6.5 I
have run into an unexpected issue:
the AMA plugin from Sony for XDCAM EX/HD can only be installed with MCP
"version 6.0 and above" - however it does not recognize MCP v 6.5.
This issue is apparently recognized by Avid:

<http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/en_US/download/en394827?popup=true&NewLang=en&DocType=1450>
So right now I can only use Sony's XDCAM browser to view SxS cards and
XDCAM HD discs - but I can't AMA link or import these media files into
MediaComposer.
Does anyone have a solution to this (other than downgrading MCP) or
knowledge about when updated AMA software will become available from Sony?
Best regards
Keld
