I say:
Those demands might require a redesign. I don't care if there's a
redesign as long as the box is up-to-date. Your requests are spot on
with what I'd be hoping for. Thunderbolt and USB3 are a given. But
I'd be willing to bet that the box will have FEWER PCI slots, not
more. But that's just my guess. Of course, it may turn out to be
something we'd never expect at all, knowing how Apple operates . . . . .
