I'm glad the smart tools tip worked. I know what you mean about SmartTools. I too was "SmartTools-averse" but recently found a way to LIKE them:

Put the four smart tools on your keyboard. I placed them on ZXCV. Now, turning them on and off and switching between them is very easy.
