As it should, same as the $80K Teranex that this unit was supposedly converted from. Hopefully they didn't get rid of the good aspects of the original unit! I have found that sometimes, the "auto" function doesn't always do the right thing and you need to manually set to "Film" mode. At least on the old Teranex, that was the case. Even the Alchemist Auto mode doesn't always work.
