[Avid-L2] Avid + Thunderbolt

 

I'm thinking of dumping my Mac tower for an iMac with Thunderbolt. The tower I have now isn't 64-bit capable, and heck, the AJA Kona LHe card has been out-moded as well for use with MC 6.5.
So, I gotta start all over again! (Currently running 5.5).

Has anyone here fully embraced Thunderbolt technology? Will it work with Avid MC 6.5? Am I dreamer? Does it seem to good to be true?

What do you use? BMD? Matrox?
