Just curious, what are you delivering? MXF, QT?
Were you informed about what are they using to QC your file?

Subject: [Avid-L2] QC issues in SD Video?
Okay today's fun was a 25 minute conference call on what was deemed QC issues in file based delivery. I was told my Red was too hot and some of my video went down to or below 0IRE. Well I made screen grabs of all the time codes and found nothing wrong according to my Tek wfm 7020 set to tekronix default alarms. I sent those to the network and just spent 25 minutes to confirm that things are really at 7,5 IRE and the Red is legal according to the Arrowhead and split diamond display. It was a nice conversation if which I was told that they were under the assumption that the "Arrowhead" display was not for SD. WTF? The arrowhead existed before we had HD to deal with. At any rate if anyone is interested I uploaded a file to the file section named QC Issues in SD Video. I would welcome any enlightenment as to what is illegal in the signal. Even the specular errors aren't enough to trigger the alarm. Just because the Red vector goes past
the box it's nowhere near illegal on the arrowhead display. Somebody tell me what I'm missing. Ultimately we agreed that the file was in fact legal and they well do a secondary QC to make sure we don't need to redeliver. I need a banana now. ;-)
