Argghh, what an effing dog.. Bad memories. I had the misfortune of
cutting two corporate projects on this around 1996.
One level of undo. No way to track whether clips stayed in sync. Easy
to knock part of the timeline way out of sync without discovering it
until later.
Did I mention ONE level of undo?
Crashed a lot. The drives and processor boxes were incredibly noisy.
Arrogant tech support.
But it was my first experience with NLE, and I could see the potential.
And we acquired our first Avid in the fall of 1996 and discovered
editing heaven.
