Well I showed up late after work and Mr. Russo had been up since 4AM East Coast time so there was no Avid OKI run. Probably worked out for the best since I noticed Bob had Smart Tools on during the demo and the OKI crowd doesn't cotton to those City Slickers that use Smart Tools. ;-) Other than smart tools it was an informative demo and I got to hear a lot about various file based work flows. The new more customizable relinking looks like it has some potential to iron out some of the bugs in file based work and allow one to roll there own style of tracking clips with more than just tape and time code.
