[Avid-L2] Bug with Danish characters in clip names - MCP 6.5

 

Running MediaComposer 6.5 on Windows I have noticed a strange issue with
a project that has been brought forward from MCP 5.5
As we work in Denmark, some on the clips have originally been named
using Danish characters like Æ and Ø as part of the clip name.
When I open the project in 6.5 these clips are not linked to their
corresponding media files.
When trying to play the timeline across one of the affected clips I get
an error message like "cannot find media file xxxxxx"
When the same project is reopened in 5.5 everything is fine.
Have anyone else seen this?
Are there any quick fixes to this problem?
