[Avid-L2] Acronis equivalent for Mac OS X?

 

Hi all,

we're using Acronis to roll out images (tested configs) via the network on our (completely identical) PC-based editing systems, which works well and is very fast.

On the Mac side we're also having 100% identical systems and are using CCC to clone the new config onto the Mac's internal drive. As this is not so comfortable because we have to boot from a FireWire drive I'm searching for better solution.

I'ver never used NetBoot / NetRestore but maybe this is a good alternative? I'd like to hear what others are doing, experiences etc.
