SAS is about the best way to go no matter what. Avid is not a compression expert in the way that Sorenson is. Use your tools for their proper purpose. Why keep using a hammer to do the job of a saw?
That said, if Avid advertises that it has the capability to do something that is broken, then that's a bad thing.
