Re: [Avid-L2] OT:using Red for screen shots

I'm guess RED was picked for the ability to zoom into the screen shots? I
would have assumed a direct screen cap would have made more sense in those
cases though.

As for multicam RED shoots - I just deployed my still-in-development CutRec
software on a multicam shoot last night (just XDCAM EX) and thinking how
well it could be used with RED for multicam 4K production. I seem to recall
hearing that the new series of Red Dwarf was shot on RED in a standard
studio multicam style which sounds a bit ridiculous until you think how
often 35mm used to be used in that scenario.
