Well, first off, because as of v6 there are no more locators. They are markers. But to really answer you question, probably because I have clips, but mostly sequences, that end up with dozens of locators. That would be a column out of control. I probably couldn't get it to sort to anything that's helpful. But the Locator/Marker window is helpful.
