{Disarmed} [Avid-L2] Re: DPX sequence / Metafuse issue.

 

I think that since this already exists in DS, the DS'ers would rightfully counter that maybe Avid should do a better job of marketing and positioning DS. Plus you've got Smoke 2013 around the corner for $3500. Is this a market where it's worth it for Avid to pour R&D money into MC and Symphony for such a feature? How about resolution-independent codecs first? 1080p/60 and 2K and 4K are where their competitors are going.
