But that's not the broadcasters. Think about it, You are finishing a show done by a production company. They maybe have four or five Media Composers which Avid sold at 995. If you could finish on a Symphony, that would be another 995 for Avid. It gets delivered on tape to the network. Avid makes nothing on that.

But broadcast…. All those ISIS, Airplay, etc sales… that adds up. Now if the networks said we are going to institute DPX files into our workflows (as opposed to XDCAM) then Avid would have to jump. But right now, where is the big return for Avid?

And yes, I am on your side, I know the importance of being able to handle professional workflows while you are touting that you are the "professional's" company. But I also know how money guys look at things.
