Thanks, I understood that -- and please know that I wasn't trying to attack you or anyone else on this list who I might have referenced.
Maybe I'm selfish, but I just felt it worth expressing my own personal philosophy regarding holding companies accountable for their actions -- or in the case of Avid -- their inactions.
Ultimately, customers either reward or punish companies with their wallets. It's no secret that due to historical mismanagement, as well as uncontrollable market forces, Avid has already suffered significantly in this regard.
The big question is -- how many more misteps will the loyal, die-hard customers on this list tolerate before we too are forced to acknowledge that the feature upgrades we've been patiently waiting 10-15 years for (CC, FX and Audio, to name but a few) are simply not going to be addressed -- and fundamental hardware incompatibilities (Artist Color) are similarly going to be ignored?
For the record, I have been supporting Avid with my wallet for over 18 years -- upgrading 12 seats to each new version that was released -- and more recently upgrading to Symphony a month or so ago. Frankly, I don't think the fixes I am referencing are over-reaching in any respect.
