I'm not sure I would call it falling for the Kool-aid. In its present form, FCP X is an extremely fast editor to get to a first cut. There may be issues with the rest, depending on preference and workflow, but the way files can be reviewed and organized put every other NLE to shame, even in this early stage. Granted it doesn't do the Script Sync/Phrase Find thing, but very few Avid editors actually use that.
