My wife is a teacher and in the new portable that was installed for her admin group there is one bathroom. About a year after construction was completed one of the teachers noticed a funny smell. Turns out the plumber had not hooked up the toilet outlet to the sewer pipe, and the plastic underlayment had become the only boundary to what amounted to a large scale experiment in toilet composting.
