[Avid-L2] Re: HP Z800 ok now w. 3TB drives?

 

Hello
I was able to install 3x 3TB Seagate drives inside but only with the latest BIOS and the latest intel storage driver. However you will not be able to use those in a RAID, but only as individual drives.
I understand that intel has released an updated bios for ICH10 raid controller, that supports RAID with 3TB drives, but HP does not want to include this in a BIOS
