I certainly see your point and don't disagree. A 4% speed change may or may not be objectionable, but the process results in 0 visual artifacts and for most people, no perceptible audio artifacts.
Of course, if you are going to take the purest approach, ;-) there simply is NO desktop/software solution that will be acceptable, because of the image artifacts introduced. Teranex, Alchemist, etc. are the only options and those aren't perfectly artifact-free either.
